Im a student at a college in England, and was wondering if possible I could use this image as a part of my A Level Media Studies coursework. What it is, is that I need to make a film trailer, and within the trailer has to be some logos of a production company etc. We could make the images ourselves or we could source our own and ask permission to use them. So, for the sake of copyright reasons, I would like to ask if I could use this image as a part if my distribution company logo. Your name/company will be recognised throughout my coursework, and the only people who would view this picture, is my teachers and the examiners (if the work gets called for). I really like this photo !

It is clear you did not read the description of this piece. This is not a photograph; it was created digitally. I suggest you create your own images as it isn't really appropriate to use other people's artwork in your coursework. There are plenty of brushes online that you can use to create something like this and it won't take very long. I used a brush made by ~pookstar and The GIMP, a free imaging program, to create this. You could achieve something similar yourself.
